Proximity to large towns and groceries
We are located about 15-20 minutes from Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport (Ndola – Airport Code is NLA). Situated between Ndola (25 min drive) and Kitwe (45 min drive) right by Luanshya Turn Off.
There is a small Petrol Station in Baluba (our closest village) that has some snacks, drinks, and very basic groceries. You. can also typically get eggs, tomatoes, and seasonal fruit at the local Baluba, and Luanshya Turn Off Markets. However, the closest proper grocery store is Shoprite in Luanshya (about a 10 min drive). All of our accommodations are self catering, please plan accordingly. We do have tea, coffee, and milk in all of the houses (not the individual rooms).

As you prepare for your stay, we want to give you a realistic picture of daily life here in Zambia. Living in a developing country can sometimes mean adapting to circumstances that are a little different from what you might be used to.
There are times when we experience power outages (load shedding), temporary internet interruptions, or occasional water supply challenges. We currently do not have backup generators, so when the power is out, certain amenities may be temporarily unavailable.
These situations don’t happen all the time, but they do occur — and we truly appreciate your patience and flexibility when they do. Please know that our team works hard to provide you with the best possible experience and to minimize any inconvenience. Most days run smoothly, but when they don’t, we’ll do everything we can to make things right as quickly as possible.
