About Kafakumba
Kafakumba is a faith-based organization in Zambia, Africa, with a wide variety of ministries including a school, clinic, training center, guest houses, and more. We are delighted to welcome international visitors who wish to stay with us, and experience Zambia.
If you’re interested in booking group accommodations for 8-30 people or all inclusive packages, please review the information found below and review our Guest House Contract.
If nothing seems to fit just right, please let us know. We’ll gladly work with you to find the best arrangement.

Planning Your Stay
Groups of 8-30 people:
Our guest accommodations are simple, comfortable, and designed for groups to live and share together. We have 6 individual guest houses throughout the property, a dining hall, meeting rooms, and game room that we use for our logistics groups. Have a look at our accommodations under “Book Guest Houses” to see what our accommodations are like. The group package rates, which include dining and lodging, are listed below.
We also have more rustic (think camp style bathrooms, with no amenities such as toilet paper, bedding, etc.) dorm style lodging that can host large groups for a very affordable cost. However, typically we don’t recommend this option unless you’re willing to sort out food, bedding, toiletries, etc. for yourself. If you’re interested in that option please look at “Training Center“.
Our accommodation packages are meant to cater to mission teams, school groups, study abroad teams, church groups, and more. Sometimes navigating new places can be challenging, especially when there is not a McDonalds anywhere in sight. Let us do the hard work for you, so that you can spend your time here experiencing the culture, instead of worrying about the details.
Meals are freshly prepared each day by our amazing in house chef and served buffet-style in our dining hall, creating a space to connect and reflect as a team.

The Basic Package is designed mainly for guests who need simple lodging and meals. For those interested in engaging with our mission work or serving alongside our teams, the Comprehensive Package is the one for you.

Power, Water, & Internet
As you prepare for your stay, we want to give you a realistic picture of daily life here in Zambia. Living in a developing country can sometimes mean adapting to circumstances that are a little different from what you might be used to.
There are times when we experience power outages (load shedding), temporary internet interruptions, or occasional water supply challenges. We currently do not have backup generators, so when the power is out, certain amenities may be temporarily unavailable.
These situations don’t happen all the time, but they do occur — and we truly appreciate your patience and flexibility when they do. Please know that our team works hard to provide you with the best possible experience and to minimize any inconvenience. Most days run smoothly, but when they don’t, we’ll do everything we can to make things right as quickly as possible.
Solo Mission Guest
While our lodging packages are primarily designed for mission teams and groups, we occasionally host individual missionaries or volunteers. Because solo stays require additional coordination, we handle these requests on a case-by-case basis and depending on availability.
If you’re interested in staying with us as a solo guest, please contact us directly with the following information to help us serve you better:
- Your name and contact details
- Your dates of travel (arrival and departure)
- The purpose of your visit (mission work, volunteering, personal retreat, etc.)
- Please note that any volunteer work at Kafakumba must have details arranged before you book your ticket
- There are no guarantees that we will be able to accommodate your lodging or volunteer time
- Whether you’ll need transportation (airport pick up & drop off)
- Any special request
- Any affiliated organization or ministry (if applicable)
